I think that until our GTG's start drawing more participation we should start hosting them at our houses.
Seems like a waste shelling out money for pavillions and parks for six people.

I tend to agree. While its good to get away every once in a while, its a ways to drive if we are going to do this once a month.
Might i mention heber again? its cooled off to a certain degree, camping and boating weather!

I'll try to make this one and check out locations for the October multi state GTG.

How much would it cost to rent a ski boat or a party barge?

I should've known i'd open my mouth. Something is wrong with my boat again as of yesterday. I'll surely have it fixed before we go anywhere though
Dunno about renting a party barge.. never done that before

If some how we could come up with a party barge and a ski boat that could be a day on the lake. And... if anyone else is an open water diver...

What kind of problems are you haveing with it? I have worked on some boat engines, but don't have much experience with the newer ones.

its a 94 merc sport-jet engine, based on the chrysler force series. (yea, i know
)
Over the past 4 years I've owned it, I've replaced just about everything on the ignition and rebuilt the carbs.
It still runs, just not very well. I'm going to pull the plugs and see if i fouled one possibly..

I have both. Hopefully the ski boat will be sold before then.

I've got a drill this weekend (9th & 10th) and I've got to work at the
White County Fair on the
11th ,
12th &
16th . It looks like the
23rd is the only day I can make it. That is the first day of fall and, if you are Jewish, at nightfall it's
Rosh Hashanah .
You all could come to the fair and watch the demolition derby on the 16th. I'll be working at a concession stand for
Liberty Christian School . Nothin' is better than fair food!

P.S. Go

I wonder if David can cook on the water? Is there anyone else in the Arkansas Chapter that is a SCUBA diver?
