San Jose eh? Hmm, I'm gonna have to take a look at the calendar when they announce a date.
I saw the real PF during the Animals tour back in, well, whenever that was. Pretty talented bunch.

I think Roger Waters is touring again (but he can't call the band Pink Floyd).
Yes/No. Last i heard (ill admit it was not reliable sources) was that Pink Floyd will be doing a reunion tour in honor of syd. I doubt they will actually tour, but will probably play a few dates. I bet they will still be called pink floyd though, the band will still be the same from the 70s.
I'll believe it when I see it (HEAR it!) Gillmore doesn't need the money & has declined mega $$$ offers (what about donating it to charity??) ...and they can't call it Pink Floyd without him.

Pink Floyd played in (i think) London Live 8 on July 2nd, 2005. They were called Pink Floyd then, I imagine they will still be pink floyd now but i really dont know the whole process of name rights etc. Really i wouldnt doubt that they play a couple dates seeing as how they played just last year that one date. Dont you think theyd want to do a reunion for syd? I know hes gone, but why wouldnt they go by Pink Floyd? I mean he hasnt been in the band since '68.
I watch that PBS special all the time. They are the closest thing to Floyd that you will ever see. I wouldnt hesitate to catch that tour. For any Floyd fans out there, 'Pulse' was just rereleased on dvd a month or so ago. It is an amazing dvd for those who havent seen it. It has been restored, re-edited, and remixed in 5.1-channel Dolby Surround Sound.
