Tire cupping problem

Sears/Michlein tires (265x15) with about 25,000 miles on them. All of the sudden they have started cupping badly - anyone know what gives?

Underinflation would be my guess.

Welcome to the wide world of Ford TTB's.

Check your alignment, ball joints, radius arm bushings, and axle pivot bushings. I have seen a ton of cupped tires on TTB Fords.

Agreed. Which edge of the tire is cupping? If its the outboard edge, balljoints would be my guess. This will usually be accompanied by greater wear on the inboard half of the tread as well.

Tire cupping

You need to rotate the tires frequently. Also,check the shock absorbers.
I have seen this tire cupping on lots of FWD vehicles,not just on Ford ttb.
Just my two cents.
