hi, i have the opportunity to get my hands on a 351 cleveland 2v. i was wondering if any one out there has done a swap in a 65 f100. if so, i would appreciate some advice such as what engine mounts to use, headers, bell housing, etc. if anyone has info for me, i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks, rick
The 351C will bolt to a 240/300 I6, 302, & 351W bell patterns, and I think it will mount on the FE and I6 perches. Not sure on the headers as there never was a 351C from the factory in a truck.
The C is not concidered a good truck engine because it doesn't build low end torque like say the FE does.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
John is right. The 351C bellhousing is the same as he states. It should bolt in to the 302 engine mounts. As far as headers, the 351M/400 was offered in the late 70's. These engines use the same heads so headers are the same. Get some from a 77-79 F150.
