I forgot to drill..........
When replacing the cab on my F350 dually (71 model) with a cab from a half ton with no rust we eased it into position with my friends tractor with front loader and when went to align bolt holes for rear cab mounts, it was way off. Then I realized I had forgotten to drill holes in new cab for the outrigger looking mounts on the 1 ton. The spot was there on the new cab for drilling and the heavy crossmember part on the cab was already drilled out, just not the sheet metal part. Also the automatic trans cab was ready for the clutch rod with a block off plate in the floor and also the trans cover was no problem either. I just used the old one. Now the elect is next problem as the old cab had everything rewired. (horn,add-on turnsignals,amp light,eng.temp,oil press, etc)
