1960 options

Here's the link(click this) for the dealer salesman book with all options, this has 2 and 4 wheel drive options for f-100's only. The ford acessories are in my gallery. Hope this clears up to some what really came on these trucks... -4speed

Awesome info. Does anyone know where a 59 version of this can be found?

Quiggs,I recently purchased a 1959 Ford Truck Salesman's Data Book, which is where Andrew(4Speed) got the info. They are nice, hard to find, and not cheap.I'd been looking for a couple years to find mine on Ebay at a reasonable cost

With only a few exceptions the optionsare essentially the same for 59/60.

One thing that jumped out at me was that the '60 223's came with a dry element air cleaner. Mine has an oil bath cleaner on it and I always assumed they were standard across the board for these era F100's.

Having both versions of the books (1959-60) I can tell you the options are almost if not identical between the two years.

does anyone have a picture of what an original dry element air filter would have looked like on a 223?

Of course! That would be great. Im just kinda baffled. I mean, the oil bath works fine, just kind of a hassle. And if i can get paper filter AND stay stock... well even better.

OK, here is the dry element air cleaner. Color may not be correct, as I stripped off about 5 or 6 layers of old paint (blue, red, orange, dark blue are some of the old paint removed, I painted it black because that is what I had on hand.
