i think its somewhere around 950 pounds. but im not sure i know that they are pretty heavy. what are you going to swap? are you just goping to put a new motor in or are you putting the 7.3 in something else?

yeah i've seen 900+ pounds for crate motor, not counting ancilleries and fluids. count on probably 1000+ by the time you put everything back on i would guess. gotta respect a truck with an engine that weighs have of what some cars (read tin cans) do.

Shipping weight on a bare longblock is #740, so mid 900's fully dressed is a pretty accurate guess. It's probably just a shade over #1000 wet.
