Question Fuel Guage

Filled up the tank on my 06 PSD and drove 89 miles and now the guage is down to 3/4 . I have had the guage not read full even after have ran the tank over. Is there something that can be done to fix the fuel guage problem?

You probably didn't get it filled all the way up because of foamy diesel fuel.

Or more likely you have a bad fuel sending unit - I had to have mine replaced 3 times in my '02 and just had it replaced again in my new '05 about 3 weeks ago..Filled up and the gauge stayed at 1/4 tank and then went to completely empty and never moved again...
