strange lighting issue?
im having a strange lighting issue! yes , sometimes at wot my security light comes on for about 5 sec. this is the factory security light that is located on the dash towards the wind shield on the drivers side.typicaly this light is used as visual deterent, it flashes every so often when you lock the doors. also i am using the ;sct; tuner. any thoughts on this would be apreciated! thanks!

Sounds like you answered your own question... Well kind of.
The PATs system can react to these aftermarket add-ons by displaying a different behavior while the vehicle is in use. I've heard of aftermarket stereos, some alarms, tuners, etc. causing this "dummy" light to work differently.
I would remove the tuner, and return your truck's programming back to factory, and see if this odd light behavior goes away.
