i got a ford f-100 1964 292 v8 and my problem started when i had an exhaust leak and i fixed it but now it seems like i have lost power but the truck is a lot quiter. Is it possible to have a cloged muffler ? and how can i tell if i have a cloged one?

I would look at the butterfly valve on the crossover pipe.It may be stuck closed.Thi s condition could cause overheating as well.
