Hello.
I have a 66 F100, 2WD, shortbed.
On the right side, forward of the rear wheel is a toolbox. It looks like a stock item. I have noticed that option on many of the long beds, but never on a short bed. The reason I believe it to be stock is: it is much shorter than the tool boxes on the longbeds and camper specials. Do I have some kind of a special order item?? Maybe a bed from a different year??

The tool box was a factory option on 64-66 (and the later years of course) models. On the 64-66, it was offered only on the new style wide bed, not the 57-60 bed model. It could be ordered on long or short beds, I think only on the passenger side..
