" Red Engine Light"
Hey whats up? I have a few questions about my 1991 f-250. It has the 460 and a E4OD. On my dash in certain sun light I see a red engine light next to the check engine light. What is or was the function of this light? I know the yellow check engine light is hooked into the computer but have no idea on the red.
I work at a diesel repair facility here in towm part time while going to collage. I recently worked on a 1990 f-250 with a 5.8. When I turned the ignition key on the red engine light would iluminate. Now Why doesnt my red engine light come on in my truck when my ignition is on? Is it supposed to? If not is there a way to make it come on? I know it sounds a little crazy but I'm just curious.
