Vibration Update!

For anyone who may remember all the trouble i was having with a vibration and the dealership telling me it was my tires being unbalanced. I finally have got some good news.

First off two of my tires were out of round, schwab warrented those, though and it still had the vibration (imagine that).
well i finally got it back down to ford. and told them about replacing the tires, they didnt care and insisted on road force balancing them them selves. i got a call today and now they are finally agreeing with me that its not the tires. they took brand new stock wheels and tires off of another truck and put them on mine. The vibration is still there. I took it in there two days ago, and they have been working on it continuesly for those two days. they admited to me, " we really dont know what is going on." in a way it makes me uncomfortable hearing the dealership say that, but now im glad that they are off of the whole tire subject. once i find out more, ill let you guys know.

This drive shaft out of balance problem, just how common is this? I have been putting up with a slight but annoying vibration between 30-35 for years. I have replaced tires, wheel bearings, u-joints, the damn thing is still there. So what is the concensus?

Thats what Im thinking but they said that the only thing moving at the same speed of the vibration is the tires. Where they're coming up with this, I have no idea

Does it occur no matter what the mph or rpm? If the dealer is trying to fix this on his own dime ask him if he would be willing to remove the drive shaft and let you take it to a balancing shop. I have found in my automotive fooling around with life that a drive shaft vibration will only last for a few, certain mph's and then clear itself up.
