front drive shaft clearence
Hi i have a 460 in my 78 f150 4x4 with a c6 transmission married transfer case. My question is about clearence of my front drive shaft and the transmission, mainly the transmission pan. It looks like i have about and 1.5 inches between the drive shaft and my transmission pan, is that enough clearence? I am putting L and L brackets on this weekend to replace the old custom custom brackets that the previous owner put on. so i am wondering if i need to position things differently or if the front shaft and pan are gonna be okay. It seems like that is the only place of concern for clearence issues.
