Rim Debacle
Took my dually in to get the tires rotated Mon. morning. Guy said it would be one and a half to two hours. I said no problem I'll hang out at the Lowe's next door. When I get back and take a look...%@#$@#!!!! They had dug the teeth of the tire machine into my rear duals. So three days later I go to pick up the truck after they had sent the rims off to be refinished. They look like complete s#!% now. They said they are going to make it right, but I'm loosing any confidence very quickly. How much are replacements from Ford, or if they'll match, is their and aftermarket rim.

Don't remember the Ford price but it's got to be plenty. When I ordered my first PSD dually seems to me the fancy rims were a $850.00 option. So I would flat hate to have to buy just a couple from their parts dept. I have a question though. Why in the world why you turn your back on the kind of simpletons that work in tire shops? Whenever I am unfortunate enough to have to have my truck in any kind of shop I watch every move they make.

I made it a point to talk to the shop manager and was very specific about the rims. He assured me they knew what they were doing. And I had to go to lowes to pick up a few things for work can't afford to sit around for two hours when you are a General Contractor. Sitting on my butt doesn't pay the bills. But then again by not watching them I went four days a truck down which cost me more than those couple hours would have.
