Help

Okay guys, it's been awhile since I've been here. I have an 06 F450 4x4 with problems. I read the thread about the back preasure valve and all of that, but I think it said anything after 05 has the updated products. I'm having rough idling, rough driving at steady speeds, and starting problems. What all could it be. My Ford Dealer had the truck in the shop for 2 days. Supposedly went through everything, but couldn't find anything wrong. I think they did nothing. This truck is running like crap & I tow a 40' long 17,000# horse trailer. I'm afraid that it's going to leave me stranded with my horses. Please Help Guys....

Mine is a 03 6.0 but when my injectors started failing I had the same symptoms.

It has less than 3,000 miles on it. It still has the oil from the factory in it.

The shop can't get it in until next Tuesday. If it is the injectors, is there anything else that's going to get hurt if I drive it until Tuesday?

The factory 10w-30 oil might be a bit thin to tow with. I'd start by changing to a 15w-40 and start with 14 qts, not 15. Overfilling causes problems.

Thanks for the oil tip. I'm going to change oil and fuel filters tomorrow.

I've tried several other Ford dealers and they are even more backed up then mine. I threw a little temper tantrum to get it in that quick. Is it going to hurt my engine or anything else if I drive it until Tuesday?
