Ok...I need some advise.....

Hello everyone,
After having my truck posted in the for sale section of this forum with no takers I'm trying to see where everyone else has had luck selling/buying an old truck like mine. I'm not placing an ad in this forum...I just want to know any ideas of where I could put an ad that would hopefully sell it. My last option is salvage but that would kill me as the truck could be restored...just not by me right now...besides how much can you get from salvaging a vehicle like my '76 250? Any help would be great! Thank you!

Nate

Well, I usually drive around with big numbers in the window via a bottle of shoe polish, that has worked well for me in the past. I also place items in front of my house (sort of busy corner), then lastly into the Post it goes. You could try Craigslist, I know that's a free site (but i'm cheap).

I've been able to re-appropriate some perfectly good junk that way. Look at the list of cities/states on the right when you get there. You can post in more than one region. You could also try FTEs regular classifieds, reach more people interested in Trucks.

Not to dis your truck in any way, but have you looked at ads for similar trucks to get some idea of current value? Salvage is not a very good option, you'll get pennies on the dollar for that new engine. If you are going to give it away, at least give it to someone you like! LOL

I don't know what your situation is, but I've managed to keep mine 12 to 14 years (so long I forget). My wife and I combined have been through maybe 12 grocery getters. You can always find another car, a good truck is difficult to replace.

Good luck, Mike
