is it going to throw the computer outta wack if I do a minor port job on the intake to get things flowing better? The vehicle is a 1990 5.0L F150, I searched, but you can imagine all the stuff I came up with that has nothing to do with this.
no plans. Ive got a 1990 bronco as well, the engine is toast so Im pulling it apart and keeping things I may want for a future project, or my f150. My brother in law works at a machine shop, I havent checked yet but i may be able to get the porting done cheap....except I just remembered that the end of the intake runners are way larger than the ports on the head. What about porting the heads?
porting of the stock e7's can give you good gains and if you can have it done for a good price you will be in even better shape. the intake i would leave alone but maybe add 1"phenolic spacer between the upper/lower to gain more low end
