The injectors are the same, the opening pressure and spray pattern is what is different.

I am running 94 turbo injectors and a 94 turbo IP in my 86 6.9 turbo engine.

It is unfortunate that with diesel injection technology going electro-hydraulic starting in 94/95 nobody developed any aftermarket Injection Pumps or Injectors for the IDI's.

For us IDI owners the world came to an end in 1994 it seems. Can't really blame anybody so if you look at the advances that were made in Diesel Engine Technology between 1994 and 2007. The emission from the 2007 Diesel Engines will be now less than their gasoline counterparts. Amazing to say the least.

Seb......

Try www.dps-performance.com, I've heard good things about thier injectors and pumps for our old school diesels, on this forum. They have hopped up injectors and pumps. I'm fixin to do a complete performace rebuild on my 89 7.3, I'll probably be goin with thier goods.
