F250 Front End issues.

I am a newbie and just picked up a 2001 F250 PSD with 50,000 miles on it. The front end seems to want to float and be twitchy. I did find that the steering damper shock was marginal and replacced it with a Rancho. Helped a little but didn't solve the issues. Any ideas on what to look for. Thanks.

upper and lower ball joints. jack up the front and grab the tires at 12 and 6 o clock and see if you get any movement.

yes bj,wheelbearings,all other steering components plus chk the trackbar mounts and bushings.
