63 f100 302 headers

63 f100 302 headers
I am putting a 302 w/ AOD trans in my 63 f100 and I am using trans dapt mounts. I was just wondering which full length headers I can use 69-79, 80-95, 66-77 bronco or even mustang. thanks

Not familiar with the engine compartment, nor the construction of the frame/chassis of the 63, so not sure following info will be of much help. Have a 65 F100 with the 302ci and purchased a set of Hooker long tube headers 69-on Ebay for a song and dance, according to seller came off 70 Ford truck. Had to lift engine about 6" to get around starter to install. Had to grind little off where header flange was resting againt cross member. If intend to have mufflers installed in shop, then following info. may also be of little help. I used a set of Hedman offset x-tentions to get around the tranny cross member issue. There is another option I prefer where a FTE member posted pic's where he modified the tranny crossmember. http://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gall...d=79912width=2. If lack weld skills, or equipment, may be able to find local weld shop who will do it for reasonable price. I was surprise to find how inexpensive it is to have local weld shop do some welding for me. Anyhow, food for thought. Also, suggest bookmark post you find helpful for future references.
