96 302 differences

What is the difference in the 87-95 302s and the 96.... most header companies sell headers for 87-95 but the only 96s Ive been able to find are the Gibson brand and they are a little pricey for me.....

96 went OBD-II and includes O2 sensor bungs in each exhaust manifold. The older trucks all used a single O2 sensor farther from the engine.

So you can use headers from any year, even carbed versions. Most decent muffler shops will be able to weld on O2 bungs in whatever location you specify, if you can't do it yourself.
