Hi I am getting ready for new tires and wondering anybody is running the BFG AT in a 295/75/16. I have a leveling kit so I am not worried about the size but the tires them selfs. I have seen a few pictures of trucks with them on and some look like the regular BFG AT that are every were and some seem to be missing the tread on the side of the tire. but when I look them up there is only one listed.seeing this is a special order size I would hate to order them and not have them look like a bfg AT is suppose to. ANY feed back will be great
Thanks.
Truck is a 2002 F250 CC LB 350 rear blocks with the edge 2" leveling mini spring pack.
they are the same as all the others. I run them on my f-350 crew cab with leveling kit with 16X8 wheels. Had them on the stock plastic/steel/chrome junk factory wheels 16X7. I cant really tell a difference between them, also they look much better than the 285/75/16
I also run them on my stock 03 4x4 and they really look good and have good grip, they would be a good choice with your leveling kit mine rub a bit at full lock. there not hard to find either I get them at discount tire with warrentys so when you rip them up you can get them replaced.and yes they are the
K.O. with sidewall tread.

Some tire outlets will not fit oversize tires on standard rims, and IMHO you shouldn't either. A little is OK, as in one size up, but a 295 on a stock rim is risky. I have owned 2 trucks previously that had over size tires on when I bought them, and both sets had serious problems w/ less than 30k miles, even the mighty BFG's.
Just a word of caution, I know this subject has been done to death.
I've got 315/75-16's on my 04 S-D with stock rims and a snow plow package from the factory and have no issues so far (2 years and 15,000 miles) They rub at full lock on the leaf springs just a bit. Keep them at the correct pressures and rotate them often and you should have no problems. I do tow with this vehicle quite often and it performs great, has a decent ride also for an F-250. -Ed
I just put 295's on my 01 350 without a leveling kit and no rubbage or anything. I'm not sure if you are hell bent on the BFG A/t's or not might want to give the TOYO Open County A/T's a look too. I've had the BFG's on numberous trucks and loved them but I like the TOYO's too quieter, and better ride plus not quite as pricey. Check out onlinetires.com there prices are the best I could find, plus BFG's prices just went up
I have 295's on my 02 f250 cc with stock wheels and they will rub at full lock when going through a ditch. So its not very often. I like them and will probably replace them with the same tire.
