Used Lift Kit

I have the opportunity to buy a used 4" Skyjacker Lift Kit for my 79 F-250. The guy is selling it for $450, and it includes front and rear springs, shocks, drag link, and front u-bolts. Is there anything I should be worried about with buying a used lift kit like this? Buying it this way will save me tons of money, but I won't do it if it's too risky. Thanks!

well if "I" was buying a used lift kit, i would look first for obvious physical defects, bent coils for leaves, leafspring bushings in the ends, those can be pretty high replacing all of them. make sure the pitman arm splines are not stripped, and do the best to see if the shocks are still good, if they have boots on them or oil all over them, stuff like that. ask the person why he took it off and if anything was wrong, then a while later or a few days later start chatting again and ask the same question and see if he gives the same answers again, (just to see if he is lying and may have broken or abused it.) other than that, it should be alright. I would buy all new hardware (grade 8) and u-bolts. just for saftey. on the price part you will need to ask someone who has sold or bought one new or used. but i know a new set of reg. superlift shocks for my f150 was 130 somthin so it sound pretty decent to me.
