Larger Tires on Explorer?
I have an ,06 Explorer with 235/70R16 tires. I dont like the stock Michelins and wanted a little more agressive tread. I want to put on larger tires(maybe a inch to 1 1/2" llarger diameter). I think the stock tires look small for the truck. These are the same size used on the Escape Anyone know how much larger of a tire you can put on an Explorer?

I have 20's on mine with 275/45/20 goodyear eagle GT's.they ride so much better than stock

Stock 16" rims
I want to stick with the stock 16" rims

check on discount tire website,or tire rack website they can help you out.

You can put a 265/75/16 on them with no rubbing.
