Replacing battery

last night I replaced the battery in our 2000 Expy. Trying to remember what I read on hear about unhooking battery, something about clearing the computer and transmission shifting, or something, I forget. Is there something I need to do after I installed the new battery?Thanks Brian

if there was something i never heard of it. I just put my battery in and went.

Yea, they say: Start and idle to operating temperature. In gear for 60 seconds. In gear and AC on for 60 seconds and you're done.

I've reset my PCM hoards of times and didn't go through this process.
