It would probably be illegal to disable it or modify it..

I have no problem with people who want one, Just give others the option to not have it if they choose....

Oh for christ's sake...the day they retrofit my truck is the day they fuel inject my 351 and pry the edelbrock from my cold dead body...

as far as I am concerned...NUMH..not under my hood...Plus the if the damn box breaks, that means more warranty work and pinpoint tests and hotline for me....I predict I'll still be driving the same truck in 20 years...I'll rebuild it till I'm blue in the face...

88, as for the simpsons comment....that's just about exactly what I was going to say...

Or to the contrary, and since I have the black box, to demonstrate that in the event of an accident that I was not driving crazy as the other driver may claim. The blackbox can work to ones benefit; it just depends on what side of the fence the guilty driver is on.
