Tire size help.

Hey there! I have a chance to buy 4 Cooper A/T 33x12.50's with 80% tread life left on 16.5 slotted mag wheels for $180 for all four. My question is, will they fit the front of my 86 F-250 HD without a lift? I need new tires as it is, and I think this deal is too good to pass up. I've searched but I can't find the info I need. Thanks for any help!

Dan.

they should fit, with very minumal rubbing on the leafs at full lock. I can fit 31's on a stock 89 2wd, and 33's on a 78 bronco, so they should fit on a 250.

i put 35's on the front of my 85 F250HD with some rubbing on the front bumper. then i took the bumperof and it was ok again. depending on how bad your front leafs are saggin, you should be able to fit them pretty easily

Well, the springs are saggin' a little bit, so I think it's time for a 2" leveling kit. Which brand kit would y'all recommend?

i had 33X12.5X16.5 tires mounted on 10X16.5 rims on my old 86 F250.
never had a problem with rubbing anywhere, but i never went flying or beating on it either. it stayed on the ground at all times.

I'm running 32x11.50x15s on my 04 Ranger without a lift...I would imagine those tires only being an inch taller and wider should fit a 3/4 ton. Besides that, if you run the 235/85/16 OEM size tires you are only looking at an inch difference in height with the 33's. The 235, depending on brand is about 31.6 or so and the 33's usually measure about 32.5" in height and width difference is 3 inches or so.
