fuel guage
Need some advice. My fuel guage reads full all the time (wish that were true!). Sending unit is bad. has anybody dropped the fuel tank for this kind of repair. Was wondering if I could or should do this. Dealer wants $395.00 for repair. Thanks for any advice. 00x V10. 111000 miles

if you have the stealer do it, make sure that you keep track of how much gas you have when you drop it off. i would fill up and then drive your normal routine. about 400 miles later, drop it off then. with the price of gas, every drop counts when they drain your tank to drop it.
