DSE is working for me.. I work for a home improvement company and my boss wanted to try this out to help off set his fuel bill each month. I was a big sceptic after reading all the bashing of this prouduct. But he insisted to give it a try. (Not my $) so I built a filter station that goes through a 20 mic., a 5 mic and a water seperator then gets transfered to a 50 gal barrel. Then when the guys need to fill up- It goes throgh another pump to another 5 mic and a water seperator to the truck. My mix is 40 gal wvo, 6 gallonns of kero, 4 gallons of unleaded, 60 oz. of power service and NO secret addative. This gives me a full barrel but I have my hole in the barrel about 6 inches off the bottom where it sits untill they need it. They also don't run this staight its veries from 50/50 to 75/25 - DSE/deisel.
The only problem that we first had was to find some good oil and we now buy it from a company that picks it up from resturants for feed and he sells us his cleanest oil. Also the truck fuel filters needed to be replaced 2-3 times in a short period because It seemed to clean out tyhe tanks and lines and plug up the filters pretty fast, But after that it is smooth sailing so far. 5 trucks - '92 - '00 - 100,000 miles so far between them, no isssues after replacing old fuel lines. The drivers are even saying the trucks run smoother with little or no power loss. My 2 cents on my experience
5 trucks with 100K miles between them is only 20K per truck, not a good trial. When you get in the 100K range on an individual truck you will have a fair trial. When all 5 get 100K or better you will have a good one.
The problems with unheated WVO take a while to develop. Eventually the coked injectors and rings will take their toal and your PSD will be DOA.
If this is snake oil why are they an advertiser here?
The point of advertising(for any product) is to generate sales..... why else expend company resources in such a manner? Since they're selling a diesel related product it only makes sense to have the ads placed where potential customers are. I bet they don't advertise in Cosmo, Elle, Redbook or Ladies' Home Journal...
