I assume (correct me if wrong) that your talking about stud mounted roller rocker arms. first thing to look for is ones that are actually intended for Ford engines, most of the cheaper brands are actually just BBC rockers put into the boxes that say ford 429/460 on them. biggest clue is the ratio. BBF should always be 1.73, BBC will be either 1.7 or 1.72. For alum rockers I prefer Crane golds or one of the rebadged versions, like the FRPP blue rockers or the TFS black rockers. both of which are actually made by crane for ford, and TFS respectivaly. I am running the FRPP blue rockers on my engine with solid roller cam and over 800lbs of open spring preasure with no probems. the next best step would be the crower stainless units but those are pushing $500 a set now.
