I'm your new moderator! I asked for it, because there seems to be no activity from Ratsmoker since January '06 or so, I do have SOME experience with FE's , and I'd like to make some kind of contribution to this forum.
I was wondering if anyone has anything they would like to add (or change) in the FAQ at the top of the forum. A new tech folder perhaps that contains links to threads that are of some interest to newbies?
Looking for suggestions.
NOTE: This is the one forum, I think, where everyone behaves and gets along very well. I do not intend to "ride herd" on anyone here. There are plenty of experts on FE's here, and I'd hate to scare them away (or just **** them off).
Anyone have problems, suggestions or questions, please feel free to send me a PM.
Well let me be the first to say congrats! This is a great forum with some really good debates and topics. Plus the company here are all top shelf guys! Good luck and get moderating!!!! LOL!!!
Congrats to your new position now get lost, na just kidding.
We may stray off topic at times but we'll get back, must be a ADD thing. Nothings worse than being shut down by an overactive moderator unless it is needed which there are a few rare times.
Again congrats we'll try to be easy on ya.
No one else realized it's easy money here; all the laughing-smiling-having fun? Congrats Art!
Good luck with the staying busy. Just got back to work my-self. Just in time, I think she found a place to hide my body. LOL
I've wished for a few "it'd be nice" links for some of the common questions. With the recent "reward" for tech articles, maybe those wishes came true...I'll have to go look.
Congrats to ya Krewat. At least now we have someone to keep all these guys in line and keep everyone on topic, rather than veerin' off topic.
I once had this black lab that was about as smart as a box of rocks. He used to like jumping out of the back of the truck while travelling about 25-30mph. Anyone ever had a dog like that?
