OEM Stero question

Okay, so I just bought a 02 explorer with the CD/ Cass stereo. Everything is fantastic until I try to install 6CD in dash changer (the one with the sat button). I discovered that the plugs dont match up. I know, I know, rookie mistake, but the Changer was really cheap on ebay. . .all the other ones i had seen were running around $250. Is there any way to make the harness in my truck match up with new CD changer, or am I slap out of luck?
