1995 Windstar
I have a 1995 3.8 Windstar with 160000 miles. It was a lemon at first and everything they tell you may happen to this van did during the first 50000 miles(blown engine gasket, transmission was replaced with a new 1998, several failures of heater coil til they figured out it needed to be grounded). Fortunately, it was under warranty. Since, it has been very reliable and drives great.
What should I do to keep this car running? Is there a timing chain to worry about or anything else? I change the oil and transmission fluid regularly and run Seafoam in the gas on a regular frequency. Thanks for any help.

You can replace the t-chain on it but is it really worth it. On e-bay you can get very low mileage motors for about $300.00. I would just run it and if it dies just pic up a replacment motor with under 30k miles.
