Adding amplifier to 2005 SD with stock 6cd head unit
I have a 2005 F250 Superduty Crewcab with the indash 6 disc changer. I bought the truck used and have no info on the stereo system other than the control functions. Does the head unit have inputs for an amplifer? I have the amplifier, subwoofer, and speakers from my last truck and I would like to add them to this truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most stock units use a high level connector to the stock amp if it has a stock amplifier. If that is the case you will need an amp with high level ins. Your other option is pikcing up what is called an LOC, which convers high level (speaker voltage) to low level (RCA voltage). Good ones cost a pretty penny but it is worth it if you want to keep the stock unit/changer.
