2000 E Fan Switch Replacement?
I'm going to do a bit of work to my work van, a 2000 E150 Van. A short time ago the fan switch (speed selector switch) for the hvac system developed a short, the shaft extending from the dash got waaay hot, and melted the **** off the front of the dash.
I bought a new switch and **** from the dealership, but I'm curious if anyone's taken the dash of one of these apart before. I only see two screws around the instrument cluster, and I'm assuming everything else snaps into place? I don't want to just start tugging and hopefully, someone on here can save me from busting the dash up.
