well my housing/thermostat gasket are leaking. Just replaced thermostat last winter with new oem and re-used housing. Lasted eight months . Want to get ready for winter now and was wandering if you can get 210 deg. thermostat at the local parts store? Instead of having to order and wait . And if i can get the 210 deg. around town can i buy a new oem housing and use itwith the 210 deg?
OEM housings seem to deteriate with age. Check some of the sponsers at top, some have very good replacements. Not too sure on 210deg thermo but some use 203 instead of 195. Do a search on here, there is a whale of great info.
called all local stores , no one offers it . Just ordered 203stat and billet housing from dieselsite. I wish they were a sponser so we could get a discount.

If its any consolation, they ship pretty fast. I just ordered the housing and thermostat and coolant filter from them. If you dont have it already, swap out the upper radiator hose for one that goes around the serpentine belt. I got in a hurry when I was putting mine back together again and pinched the seal on the thermostat housing. DA mistake I know. Good luck

On edit one more thing go to your local International dealer and get some new bolts for the thermostat housing. I had one of mine snap off in the water pump,I was changing it out anyhow, but I would highly recommend new hardware and a torque wrench for reinstallation.

I just had this doen on my 02 F-350
I have 100K
I was going to install a ISSPRO water temp gauge but their temp sensor is too long to fit into the t-stat housing
going to try an Autometer branded one instead
I want to know the actual running temp of the engine, not just the dummy light form the stock gauges
