45mph shake...what causes it?

I dont know what it is about 45mph, but my truck seems to shake at 45mph on seemingly smooth roads. 48mph...goes away, 40mph...goes away. It didnt do it when it was brand new, now i have 16,000 miles. I remmeber my old Dodge 4x4 having this exact same thing at the same speed. Any ideas?? Its not a big deal really, just curious why they do it?

i have 35" tires on mine and ever since i put them on there when i go around 40-45 it hops a little and just a tad bit over it smooths out. maybe thats the same problem?

Have you ever had the tires re-balanced since you bought it new? As the tire wears, over time it will go out of balance; simple fix for one hell of an annoying problem!
