Not really sure which forum this is appropriate for after looking through them so ill try here. Im thinking of getting rid of my stock bench seat and going to bucket seats in my 1980 ford f 150. was wondering if anyone could suggest some brands to look for or what may work well. or suggest what forum to post this in even
i bought a set of highback bucket seats that are made of formed plastic for $40/piece. then $60/piece for the 5 point harness and got the seat pads for $30/piece from summit. only sat in them a couple times and they sue feel comfortable! i'll let you know how they ride on an all day ride
before you go snapping up tjhose $150/per seat you outta go to a couple of j-yards! there are some really sweet seats found in everything from honda civics to monterros to captains seats found in late model fords! and prolly pay half if not less for a good set of seats!
it'd take a lot for me to pay $300 for a pair of seats even if i had the money, lol

Exactly. I got a set of Ford Probe seats and put them in my buddies F-150. Fit nice. We used body lift blocks to mount them in the truck, the seats sat real low at first.
