Mine always hisses when it's running. Rumbles like gasser open exhaust on COLD startup--has since I put the exhaust on it. Hisses when running normally. When the motor had 25K miles the exhaust hiss would appear after 3 seconds---now it takes 6 or longer for it to start. Like it's taking the VGT longer and longer to actuate, but when it's warm it's fine. I will inquire about a new VGT and see if installing a new one will make this "problem" go away. If not I would think oil pressure?

I never knew it either til I put on the magnaflow exhaust. I have access to a new VGT--I'll borrow it and see if that fixes the problem. Til then we'll let it rest. It's not something you'd here with the stock exhaust.

OK--I got a clarification of the oil pressure thing. I was told it's the oil pressure relief valve under the oil cooler bleeding off and causing a little longer for the pressure to come up making actuation of the VGT longer on cold start up. Does that sound more right?
