Limited's came with more standard options, but people buying EB's pretty much checked all the boxes any way, so the real decision is if you like the two tone treatment of the EB's. I don't much care for the two color exterior, but I like the leather seat accents. I have a 2004 white EB by the way.
yea .... all the ones I looked at there were no differences between the two except the interior colors and the exterior paint colors and pin stripe'n. Don't pay more for a Limited there is no difference to support it.
i actually have an 03 EB with the white and tan currently 90k - the bumper started to peal after 65k- i also have a black 05 limited and it is still looking good, but it also only has 30k on it. it has the captains chairs front and rear, and bench 3rd row which is an awesome feature. i would say go for chrome bumpers
I’m sitting on the fence between the two right now. I’ve got a line on a black 05 Limited and a red 05 Bauer. The limited has more miles (41k vs 25k) plus heated seats and driver’s seat memory. Otherwise they’re both the same (V10’s, leather, good shape). The Limited is 3.5k cheaper, but the Bauer still has 11k factory warranty and is eligible for esp.. Ah, decisions decisions! What to do…………..
I'd take the limited. If it's cheaper and has more goodies. You can negotiate the price farther down because NOBODY wants those trucks generally right now with gas prices. Take the savings and put it into a Ford extended warranty to cover ya.
I have always been told that with large vehicles red is a killer on resale. I would go with the black. I really like my o2 limited with the v10,my wife didn't want a diesel because it smells when idling in the school pickup line. I tow a 28ft airstream camper and it does't even feel like it is back there. Good luck

My understanding was that the vehicle had to be under 36k miles to qualify for esp.
It is for the other parents and kids outside the vehicle that she is worried about. It can get quite smelly unless she starts it and stops it numerous times, kind of a hassle.
Thanks
I wouldn’t say I like the smell but it doesn’t bother me. I’d just upgrade the exhaust, it won’t help the smell but it will make it loud enough that the other parents can’t talk next to your X anyway.
