Im looking at getting some projector headlights for my 96 ranger... I was wandering if neone else here has put them on their ranger... I was just curious how they look on the ranger and how they look at night far as the light pattern and wat not...can u actually see more or less or same compared to stock... Thanks
Projector headlights, that the same thing as euro headlights or whatever. Replacements for stock, clear lenses, etc?
I like them and yes, they are a good bit brighter, IF your lenses have fogged over time. I sure as heck noticed it. Not near as much as I noticed the clear corners and taillights though, good God those things get bright!
I recently purchased a headlamp lens resurfacing kit from advance auto it costs 20 bucks and works well I really noticed an improvement it is called crystal view I believe and I was very impressed with the results much brighter at night
I'd be interested to see if there are any out there for that MY. I found'em for my ol' '99 but I never got around to ordering them.
I think your best bet maybe (possibly) Motorhaven.com or Stylin' Concepts. or even for kicks and giggles, going on to the APC website to see if they make'em for that MY.
yea they are made by apc and thats the only company i have seen make those for that my but i found them on ebay for $90 while everywhere else wants round 200 to 400.
eBay it. If you want a true projector setup, you'll have to convert to HID bulbs. I'm ab to get one from my bro (who works at a custom shop) for $250, his cost. Normally around $600. That's coming very shortly.
I just put a set of halo projectors in my sons 99 Ranger. Theyl look great but it seems that the bright and dim lights are reversed. The halogens seem to be the dim lights but they are on when the high beam indicator is on. did you have this problem?
