Where did you get your truck?

I found my 69 F100 through an Auto Trader parts ad and my 56 M100 at an antique car auction. The 98 Ranger was another trader ad.

I found my 89 driving past a auction place back home by white fox, asked the guy about it and bought it later that week. My 97 I found in alberta. Long story short I went to edmonton to look at a different truck which was a POS, and the dealership lied to me about, lied about teh kilometers, and even interior color. Luckily on the same day I found this 97, alot cleaner and in better shape with a ton less kms

My 85 my driver I bought from a farmer at Outlook after his son ran the tractor into it. Got it for $400.00 My 86 was from a co-worker who won some good coin on the lottery and bought a new truck. My 78 I bought from a retired farmer who was selling it and the camper. He bought a new truck and camper for retirment to camp in. My 66 1Ton from a friend in Dalmeny. It was his water truck. My 64 Econoline truck was a repo from Glenwood auto repairs.. The other 67 came from the town of Straun where the owner sold it to a guy who just took it to a vacant lot in the town and stripped parts off it and laft it. The town and previous owner were fight over the having it removed and who would pay the cost. Then I came and I offered to remove it. Both parties were happy. 3rd e truck was a SGI right off and got for 300.00
I could go on about the parts trucks I have.
I had a red rusted out 82 that A guy traded me for my statiowagon and paid me $400 to boot on top. Had that truck for 4 years and the rust got worst. So I sold it for $500. Saw it driving around for another 2 years. It probally got yanked by one of tose spot checks on bad vehecles.

I bought my 84 Bronco II in 1997 for $2500,I posted an ad in the Leader-Post looking for a mechanics special Bronco II or Ranger ext cab when my 2nd child was born and I had to replace my Toyota 4x4 with something bigger.A guy called me up, the truck was his wife's daily driver and it only had about 100,000 km on it and it needed a few minor repairs. My 91 Explorer I picked up about 2 yrs ago, I wasn't even looking for one but I noticed it in the paper for $1300 listed as a mechanics special. The body was nice and it had new tires. The timing chain cover gasket was pouring out antifreeze and the guy's mechanic told him you had to pull the motor to change it.

I got my 67 Merc at an auction, nobody was bidding so I stuck my hand up and got it for $500.00. Never even looked at it and it turns out to be a real gem. As for the PSD, I looked for a couple of years although not to hard and I ended up finding 2 within a couple of days of each other, one in Saskatoon and one in Regina. Went in and took the one in Regina out for a test drive and fell in love, but it was out of my price range, but made an appointment to go back the following monday anyway. Monday morning I phoned the dealership and told them I wouldn't be in as I was going to go to Saskatoon to test drive that one. The guy told me to get into Regina as they weren't going to lose me to some dealer in Saskatoon. When I got there they asked me what I was willing to pay and I told them, they came back a few minutes later and told me that wasn't enough and I said okay I'll see you later, they said wait a minute lets try something different, I said no. A few minutes later they came back and said it was mine. It almost seemed to easy at the time, it makes me wonder.

got my chebby (hold on a minute!!) from my dad for free (present for my 15th b-day) which got me into the autobody trade, i worked on that, and am still working on that... story about it, my grandpa bought it brand freakin new back in 51, worked it hard! gave to my dad for his 1st vehicle when he was 15, he blew the motor the second day... parked it in a feild and he got a 78 f-100 short box 2 days later... which he gave me a year ago and i parked it till i find time to do it.

my 90 f-150 4x4 got from my dads friend, put many many MANY hours of work into it... and sold it

and randomly found my 2000 from word of mouth here in the city
