the battery is the last thing that i need to worrie about, it was the 1st thing i checked and yes it has 2 tanks the fuel pumps work good. I drove it to the end of the driveway and it started to die on me so i reved it a few then turned it off because i didnt think there was a problem then 20 min later i tried starting it again and it sounded like it wanted to start but it didnt.
Plz tell me i dont have to engine swap cuz there is no time for that
what voltage is your battery at sitting, and when you try to pull it over? should be around 12
might be your modulator. Its the computer looking box thinger. On my buddies '77, it was doing the same thing, it would turn over, but just wouldn't start. changed the battery, distrib. cap, spark plugs, wires, selenoid. went and had the mod. tested at auto zone and it was shot.
On my dads '91 f150 302, it would never start when it rained out. Ended up being the plug wires were old and too thin to transport a good spark
