engine swap

i have a 1992 f-150 with a inline 6 efi in it and i bought another truck an 1987 f-150 with a 302 efi in it i wanted to swap the inline 6 for the 302 but i ran into a problem like the wires that run into my dash through the fire wall on the 87 has a round connecter and the 92 has a square connector and to my ? i was wondering if the 1992 f-150s with the 302 in them had the square connector or not and is there an adapter or anyone have any suggestions. its the 3rd box over on the fire wall from the drivers side. ok well any help you can give me will make me happy lol thanks for the help

91 and earlier had round connectors, and 92 and newer had square and rectangular connectors.

You should acquire the wiring diagram from your truck, and the truck you got the engine from, and splice to resolve this.
