Well after having the parts lying around, I finally got my O.E.M. roof marker lights installed. A friend of mine needed a deck built...he had the materials so we swapped labor. I was able to take pics of his progress...I'll post them when I get some time, but talk about scary....seeing all those holes drilled into the roof of my truck made me almost sick to my stomach. But it's done and I just can't stop drooling now. First night I got them done I turned on the lights at dark and just looked at them for an hour in amazement
Also got the zoodad mod done too!
It's that hole you cut in the radiator support in front of the air intake tube. I drilled two large holes sorta at an angle to each other and then turned the two holes into one long oval hole. It allows more cooler air into the air filer and then the engine. This mod helps to lower your EGT's.
If you go to the 6.0 forum there's a thread going now on the ZOODAD mod. Also links to pics on how it's done.
Heree's the link Mike....https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...d-mod-wow.html
It's really easy to do, only take about 15 to 30 minutes from start to finish.
Mike, I should be closing AGAIN on my house here very soon...possibly even the end of this week. Hope to have your $$$$ to you shortly.
