Whistling Noise

I just finished changing out the heads on my 1990 F150 and took it for it maiden ride. About 2-3 miles down the road I started hearing a whistling sound. I sounds like its comming from the rear of the drivers side head. Could it be a bad gasket, not enough torque on the bolts? Outside of this, the engine runs great with a noticable increase in power.

Vacuum leaks often whistle, look for a hose that has come loose or an intake manifold gasket, Vacuum leaks can be hard to locate because the EEC will compensate and the engine often still runs well.

check for an oil leak in the back of the intake also. had a 302 i couldn't keep the gasket in the back to save my life. started using the form-a-gasket stuff
