According to Paul G. McLaughlin's book "Ford Pickups 1957-67", The production numbers were.........
1964 F-100 4x4 ....... 3,724

Thanks, you saved my dad from selling his truck 
He took it to a shop to get a quote on some of the repairs and was thinking of selling it. When the guy at the shop heard that he offered my Dad $500 for it. Dad then said "I'll let you know on Monday if I want to sell it." So I had to find something to show Dad what he has. My dad knew that it's a rare truck but had no idea how rare, it's also a custom cab.
