2002 f150 fuel filter...
I tried to replace my fuel filter last night, but was unable to get the old one off. I bought the tool from Autozone, tried to shove the end into the flanged part of the fuel line, but after that i got nothing. Do you turn the tool, or push it further, what???? Confused....

Those things are tough. I bought a tool for it and it was made out of metal. I ended up having to grind off part of it just to get it to fit (it was too thick). Once I got it on there, I could just push the filter off the line.
Before I did so, I used my handy fuel pressure guage to relieve the fuel system pressure. That will save you from a face full of gasoline anyway...

The proper sized line tool should slide inside the fitting, then push the line on a little farther, then pull the line and tool away from the filter. It should come off.
