Fact or Friction

What do you guys think about this article?http://www.lubedev.com/smartgas/ultra5.htm

A friend sent it to me and says he has added the acetone to his gas and has seen a 2MPG increase.

Acetone does increase the octane level of the fuel, so you would see the greatest gain on a computer-controlled vehicle. I wouldn't run more than the 2oz/ten gallon recommended to prevent damage and drying of the rubber parts in the fuel system.
